Policy & Reform

The TCRG regularly publishes material advocating or discussing reform in particular areas of corporate law and governance, either in response to a reform proposal, recent changes in the law, or due to TCRG members identifying certain problems with the law.

To date, commentary on policy and reform has been disseminated in the form of books and scholarly law journal articles. These forums will continue to be utilised in the future, however it is also intended that over time the TCRG will become more active in preparing submissions to governments and organisations.

The Corporate Research Group has prepared a submission to the Australian Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services inquiry into corporate responsibility.
The Committee is due to report on the inquiry by 31 March 2006. Click here to download the submission.

The Corporate Research Group has prepared a submission to the Australian Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services inquiry on the Exposure Draft of the Corporations Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2005.
